Updated H-1B numbers as of April 22, 2011

The H-1B numbers are still pretty lackluster so far.  USCIS released an updated count on April 26, 2011.  According to the USCIS press release USCIS has received 8,000 H-1B petitions for the regular cap and 5,900 for the master’s exemption as of April 22, 2011.
